Bishop Gordon Bennett was ordained Auxiliary Bishop of Baltimore on March 3, 1998. Bennett assumed his duties as bishop of Mandeville, Jamaica on September 24, 2004. After retiring as Bishop of Mandeville in 2008, Bishop Bennett was appointed Peter Faber, S.J. Fellow in Pastoral Theology and Ignatian Spirituality at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
